Piedmont Fall FPP Class



Learn the basics of Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) and creating a flange border with the Piedmont Falls pattern. Designed and taught by Debbie Bailey. The class will include the instruction, pattern, and BONUS Foundation Papers to create this beautiful fall leaves 35" x 42" wall hanging!
This is a 2-session class at 4 hours each, two weeks apart to give adequate time to complete the blocks. The second session will end with all the information to finish the quilt top, ready for quilting!

Min 2 students, Max 6 students. Sign up by August 5th!
Skill Level:

Skill Details:
Strong understanding of piecing and good 1/4 inch seam habits. Will need to sew, trim and press quickly.
Materials Included:
Pattern and Foundation Papers provided
Requirements:
Bring your sewing machine, coordinated piecing thread and kit along with the fabric requirements below. Also suggest the Add-A-Quarter ruler. 1-1/2 yards of assorted prints for leaves (about 12-15 different fabrics are good. If using strips, they need to be around 5" wide to fit the largest leaves). 1-1/2 yards of assorted blacks for backgrounds of leaves (or can use same fabric) 1/8 yard assorted prints or additional options for stems 1/2 yard black for 1st border and sashing 1/4 yard for 2nd border (accent flange) 3/4 yard for outer border
