Please prepare for the class by choosing a panel and a first border to add. During the class we will review the calculations for determining fabric requirements on additional borders, squaring the center, cutting border strips and the correct way to attach them to any large project.

You will need to bring:

Chosen panel and first border fabric

Piecing thread (50 wt. cotton)

Sewing machine and kit

Flat head straight pins

Rotary cutter and long ruler

Pen/pencil for notes and the worksheet

Optional calculator (or phone!)
